ZeSys e.V. is part of the AMVAD joint project, which is funded by Investitionsbank Berlin and the European Regional Development Fund [ERDF].

The aim of the project is to develop a process that enables the use of additive manufacturing for the production of high-risk medical devices. This is to be developed and demonstrated using the example of a cannula with patient-specific geometry for external cardiac support systems. Additive manufacturing technologies open up possibilities for patient-specific care for previously unprovided patient groups while at the same time ensuring a high level of safety through a complete approval process.
